JOB SUMMARY STATEMENT:

Performs a variety of administrative support duties, primarily small cell deployment permit application process. Corresponds with internal and external partners regarding application statuses. Compiles data, prepares statistical reports, maintains trackers, and creates flowcharts. Maintains manual and computerized files, records, and logs. Performs a variety of administrative support duties as assigned.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintains and processes small cell permits and documents (utilizing naming schemes)

Correspond with contractors, consultants, and communication providers.

Update and maintain drives, databases, spreadsheets and work progress maps.

Enter data into permitting database daily (EnerGov).

Work with multiple departments on review coordination efforts.

Coordinate, file, and audit all open or pending right-of-way permits waiting for release.

Assist with document imaging.

Track customer service correspondence to ensure follow-up, completion, and closure of outstanding complaints.

Assist administrative staff at the front desk, as needed, by answering phones and providing customer service to the public.

The employee must work the days and hours necessary to perform all assigned responsibilities and tasks.

The employee must be punctual and schedule time in accordance with the departments practices.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION & SPECIAL LICENSE(S)/CERTIFICATIONS:

• Basic education which includes courses in typing, basic mathematics, bookkeeping, and operation of office machines and personal computer (word processing and spreadsheets) or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

EXPERIENCE:

• Two to three years administrative and clerical experience including use of PC.
