Teens, get involved with your City
Looking to make a difference in your community, learn how the city functions, and meet new friends?
The Overland Park Teen Council is just the group for you. Plus, you’ll dine with the City Council and it looks great on a college application.
Through monthly learning sessions, attendance at City Council meetings, and community service events, students have the opportunity to learn about city operations, leadership, planning and development, and much more.
To participate, a student must be an Overland Park resident enrolled in high school classes. Students must also be in good standing at their school, show an interest in community service, and be available to attend all meetings.
