Join Sprint, Overland Park to celebrate Veterans Day
It’s your opportunity to offer a moment of appreciation to others.
From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 8, at Sprint Campus Headquarters, 6240 Sprint Parkway, Overland Park, please join Sprint, the city of Overland Park and many others as we all show our thanks to the men and women who have proudly served this nation. The national day of observance for Veterans Day is Sunday, Nov. 11. The first national celebration was in 1947.
This free event is open to the public. Friends, family, and children are welcome. There will be an A-10 Thunderbolt flyover from Whiteman Air Force Base and an aerial performance by the BeechNutz flying team. Military aircraft
and fire and police emergency response vehicles will be on display.
Service members and first responders will be there. There will be food trucks with items available for purchase.
There are several entrances onto the Sprint Campus with the most convenient either north onto Lamar from 119th St., or west on 117th St. from Nall Ave. The campus has two divided roads. The outside ring goes counterclockwise and the inner circle is clockwise. Please park your vehicle in the A or P parking garages.

half of property tax bills for 2019 to all property
owners. The second half is mailed in early May.
If you have a mortgage, it’s likely your monthly payment includes collection of funds for the twice-a-year property tax
payment.
