Patrol Support Division –
Emergency Services Section is comprised of the following:
 Captain
 Sergeant (2)
 Officers (16)
The Emergency Services Section (ESS) purpose is threefold.
1. Support the Patrol Division by answering calls for service and providing quality police service to the community.
2. Strategically direct resources to address the following: Chronic crime and problem locations, patrol relief, retail crimes, fugitive and warrant apprehensions. ESS also provides coverage for special events.
3. The ESS maintains readiness of the section’s special teams/ functions to include: Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT), Underwater Rescue & Recovery (Dive), Canine and Crisis Negotiation Team (CNT).
